How long does it take to build a First Floor addition?
This is one of the most common questions we get asked
The first step is to get your home addition through the design and approval process- As a design and construct builder Spannenberg and Son can usually have a basic concept design and detailed quotation completed in about a 3 week time frame.
The next part of the process involves documentation, submission and approval through either a private Certifier or council and this usually takes about 6 months but can take a year or so depending on Council red tape.
Once we have reached approval stage and the contracts for the build are signed our Project managers need a few months to organise the project with ordering and scheduling of trades and materials and then anywhere between 3-6 months or even 9 months to complete the build.
Spannenberg and Son offers this comprehensive service all in house to make your life easier
