Building Process - Easy Steps
Lets meet - We will meet on site for a nominal fee to discuss your requirements and discuss design options to meet your style and budget.
Design - If you don’t already have plans drawn, we will provide a basic sketch design including front elevation and floor plan to fit your requirements and it will look great.
Formal Quotation - We will provide a written quotation, which is thorough and itemised and includes your prime cost items and price options.
We want to proceed - On acceptance of our quotation, we progress to organising the working drawings for submission to council. We will also organise the engineering details, energy efficiency assessments (BASIX), building specifications and then submit it all to council for you. You will get a final occupation certificate on completion.
Contract Signing - We meet up and sign plain English contracts supplied by the HIA, these are a fixed price contract.
Construction - While we are building, you will be kept updated and informed with the works progress. To guide you through the process the Site Foreman or Ben Spannenberg will be available. We will also guide you through your selections.
Completion - We carry out a detailed inspection of the completed works at the end of the job to check that it meets our high standards. Any work items requiring review will be attended to by our team to guarantee a quality finish on completion.
Maintenance and Warranty - We provide a full six year structural warranty and attend to any issues or any rectification works that require completion during the defects liability period of three months.
